Kim Kardashian’s ”Champagne Incident”? Here Is The Original Version
Arts Oluwaseun Oyalade November 27, 2014
The picture often referred to as the “Champagne Incident,” is Jean-Paul Goude’s picture, titled “Carolina Beaumont New York, 1976,”.
The image is from the 1976 spread of Esquire Magazine called the “French Correction.” The aim of the spread was to play with the changing proportions of people’s bodies. Goude re-created this famous shot for the winter 2014 issue of Paper Magazine – this time, featuring Kim Kardashian.
