Goals from Andres Guardado, Jesus Corona, Oribe Peralta gave Mexico their 7th Gold Cup triumph. The Mexican ran away 3-1 winners over Jamaica in the CONCACAF final.
They will now square up with 2013 winners, USA, on October 9 for a place in the FIFA confederations Cup to be held in Russia in 2017.
