Fergie For Allure Magazine’s February 2015 Issue

Pop star Fergie is the cover girl of Allure Magazine’s February issue, read excerpts from the interview below;

On her lack of a solo album (her last solo album was released 8 years ago):  “Did I feel some sort of pressure to come back out?” she says. Yes, in fact she did. “I felt that it was either going to be another baby or an album,” she acknowledges.”

On criticisms for her single, “L.A.Love”: “I don’t read everything. I just figure with all my stuff, some people are going to like it; some people aren’t. It’s a lot easier for me to just say, ‘Fuck it’ now!”

On how she and her husband josh Duhamel met:  “Yeah, yeah, he wanted to get in my pants,” Fergie recalls, amused. But things evolved after the first hot moments. “We just grew. And we grew into realizing that we wanted the same things in life. We wanted the same path. We both come from Catholic families.”

On how she keeps her marriage of 7 years going:  “He (Duhamel) is not afraid…. He doesn’t feel like he’s not man enough for therapeutic help. My husband and I made a two-week rule, meaning that’s the maximum time on the road alone. We’ve already talked about how we’re going to have to trade off, he’s going to have to come on tour with Axl for a while, and then there’ll be a break. He’ll take a job; I’ll be on set with [Axl]. You know?”
